AJAX Based Management and Monitoring Console for Apache ODE

September 17th, 2008 · 5 Comments · apache ode, bpel, personal

Since last April, I work with Apache ODE project to implement AJAX based management and monitoring console. I have done it for Google Summer of Code 2008 and finally the project is now available in the Apache ODE svn trunk. I must mentioned the help I got from my mentor Tammo Van Lessen while doing this project and also like to thank Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana for encouraging me to work with Apache ODE.

Still there are more work to be done in this project and I'll hope to add more and more features to it in the near future.

Apache ODE JIRA created for this project: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ODE-293

WSO2 WSAS 3.0 will be available on end of December with Apache ODE. It contains fully featured management console for managing processes and web services in the same console. If you need more information please visit http://wso2.org.

Hi Xingang, I couldn’t find time to fix the ODE MMC because of my other work. Currently I am working with WSO2 Inc.. WSO2 has new product called WSO2 Business Process Server (BPS). We have integrate Apache ODE with our Web Service Application Server (WSAS). Now users can get the advantage of all the features provide by WSO2 WSAS while using BPS. BPS has complete management console for Managing Apache ODE based BPEL engine. You can download alpha release from following location: http://ww2.wso2.org/~milinda/wso2bps-alpha2.zip. There are some UI related bugs in this release but you will be able to get the next version on this Friday.
